Well what can be said... We should start the review with a warm welcome to Ray, another Nasty into the fold. Welcome Ray, Ray is from North Wales, so he is nearly Welsh. That means he is still to be shown the respect he deserves, except from people from South Wales.

The Nasties team BBQ was the victim of a hailstorm not seen for quite some time on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Despite the downpour the hasty erection of a tarp saw all players dry (except for the host) and the beer continued to flow (see picture) and flow.....

Many players at the bbq were struggling with the consequences of the Warriors "gentle" warm up run to the highest point on the Northern Beaches. The writer is convinced he passed 2 sets of people training for their attempt at conquering Everest.

The Warrior was in fine form this morning with all players absolutely shattered, exhausted and generally not in control of their vital bodily functions by the end of the gruelling session.

The team player of the week award has been given to Vince Carmody for making sure there was none else behind him on the ascent and descent of the mountain next to Porters. Thanks Vince.

A real tough session utilising the tackle bags was befitting of the attitude being shown by all the nasties.

Special mention needs to be made of the vital instructional participation that Trent Williams undertook today. Trent put his body on the line by being the tackle bag for the warrior, well done Trent, in truth I think we were all as suprised as you were when the Warrior drove you two metres backwards and dropped you on your backside.

As for the team BBQ, some suprising weather failed to dampen the day and much fun was had.

See you all on Thursday for training, 7pm at Porters.
