There is less than two weeks until the kick-off of the Newport Nasties 2011 season and an online poll voted by thousands of dedicated Nasties fans has revealed that Phil Scarr could be making a return to the Blue, White & Pink colours.
Scarry has almost 40% of the votes counted ahead of the mecurial Jeremy 'Boylo' Beynon (17%) and Dean Guberina (15%). "They were all very popular figures in the side with both teammates and supporters.....: commented Skip McGrath on Sports Tonight this week. "It would be brilliant to see them all return....." McGrath continued. Meanwhile the side is hastily preparing for their opening match against the Withered Oaks on Sunday Week. "I just hope the rain stays away so we can get some game time....." Coach Trollope said at a media conference over the weekend. Training is on again on Thursday at Hitchcock Park.
