Another respectable turnout greeted the inaugural Nasties midweek training at Porters reserve.

With a few people making their apologies a solid 10 players turned out for the introduction of the ball into the session.

Before training started some players were still making impolite reference to the state of their abs after the Warrior had got hold of

them on Sunday morning. These pains were quickly forgotten when Hawko's warm up started.

Some minutes of warm up passed with some good stretching and light running, then it was with glee that the forwards amongst us turned to the next stanza of the session "Tackle bags and pads".

It was at this point the real divide between forwards and backs became wholly and truly evident (Deak you need to find an identity at the moment you are a bit of an haemaphrodite neither a back nor a forward).

Once again with the evidence presented on the paddock all backs concurred that forwards are a breed apart.

Special comment must be made on Scott Daltons efforts to single handedly break every law at the tackle area in one short session, well done Scott.

The backs are still waiting for the introduction of real ball work and look forward to next Thursdays session when we can run the forwards around the park with some slick handling.

Another great effort lads. See you on Sunday.
