The Newport Nasties will play hosts to the Old Thistles and Dee Why at the Doggy Dome this Sunday in the final lead-up to the Annual Loveday Gala Day later this month. Positions in the Blue, White (& Pinks) starting line-up will be fiecely fought out at training tonight with Coach suggesting no player is guarranteed a spot. "The team is such a strong unit it is getting harder to find places for everyone.....: Coach Mojo commented on radio this week.

It is expected after many damaging runs out wide at the Eastwood Gala Day that TTE will be named on the wing for Sunday. "I'll be looking forward to that....." said the 130kg back. Meanwhile, Pete Johno is recovering well but won't be available this weekend but hopes to make a reurn at Lovedale. ".....it is still a bit sore" Johnno told team mates on the weekend.

It is requested for all players to arrive at Hitchcock Park by 11:30am on Sunday to help set-up the field for a midday kickoff. We hope to see the Familes there for a great afternoon of entertaining Rugby. There will also be entertainment for the Kid's including a BIG FUN Obstacle Course to keep them amused. Training tonight at Avalon at 6.45pm. We hope to see you there.
