The much anticipated draw for the Eastwood Gala Day has been issued by the Charcoals for this Sunday's matches. It sees a carbon copy of last year's clash with the Newport Nasties drawn to play Killara and old foes the Warringah Wrinkled Rats on the Main Oval at 9.30am. The afternoon matches have not yet been scheduled..

A huge build-up to these games are anticipated and are expected to rival the ratings of many Soccer World Cup matches said one television executive. "Once again it will be a fantastic day....." Skip Mcgrath bellowed. "I can't wait to get back on the park....." shouted Matty Read with much excitement.
