With less then a week to go the Nasties team selection for the Eastwood Gala Day are being hotly contested. The selectors have sat down and have made a preliminary team line-up for the run-on side at T.G. Milner Field. The Team is:

Hooker - Darren Vaux (TTE)

Props - Colin Scott / Sean Panambalana

2nd Row - Pete Johno / Darren Warrener

Lock - Pup Walsh

Breakaways - Flynnie / Gunner

Half - The Hoff

5/8 - Cowboy

Centres - Pillow Ribs / Jamie King

Wing - Skip / Tink

Fullback - Notso

Reserves - M.Watts, P.Scarr, Kiwi, Aido, Boyo, Deano

Cheer Leaders - Mita, Frank, Stavros

An unnamed official commented on the selection ".....you know it is a quality team when you can't find room for players like The Axe, Sin-Bin and Pesty.". He continued "My only selection concern is Stavros with the Cheer Leaders. I think it is too close to the action for him. Dundee or Deaks may have been a better choice.....".

There is still time for changes to be made to the team so training will be vitally important this week to impress Coach Mojo and the Selectors for your place in the team. Training is at the usual time of 6.45pm on Thursday at Hitchcock Park. We hope to see you there.
