Thousands of Rugby fans have been left disappointed when Sydney's inclement weather caused the cancellation of tomorrow's much anticipated Seaside Trophy clash between the Newport Nasties and Eastwood Charcoals at T.G. Milner Field. ".....it was a huge build-up to this clash" a disappointed Skip McGrath commented. " We had at least 10 buses of spectators going to the ground to cheers us on.....".
The Nasties fans won't have long to wait as the glamour Northern Beaches outfit will be travelling to the Charcoals home ground in 3 weeks for the annual Eastwood Gala Day. ".....it will give the team another few weeks to get over any niggling injuries that we've been carrying for the last few months or years....." chirped a positive Cowboy to the waiting throng of fans, No word yet on a rescheduling of the match.
