The Newport Nasties juggernaut rolled on to Game 7 of the season at Avalon Bulldogs Stadium today in basking 25 degree sunshine. A spirited and determined Dee Why Lions side tested their fellow northern beaches team in a highly entertaining encounter of rugby that saw a 5-4 scoreline favour the ‘glamour’ home team. In a hard fought and closely contested match that was brilliantly controlled by referee Bruce Killingsworth, no side was going to give anything away.
