The much anticipated draw for the Eastwood Gala Day has been issued by the Charcoals for this Sunday's matches. It sees a carbon copy of last year's clash with the Newport Nasties drawn to play Killara and old foes the Warringah Wrinkled Rats on the Main Oval at 9.30am. The afternoon matches have not yet been scheduled..

The headline says it all as this phrase was the catchcry of the night as the Aussie side once again gave the Rest Of The World team a sporting lesson in the Nasties Soccer World Cup. An emphatic and comfortable 5-3 win to the Green & Gold's had the capacity crowd cheering last night at the Doggy Dome. ".....that was even better than last year's win." said an exhausted Pesty.
